Join Our Team at Pink Hygiene – Business Development & Customer Care Administrator (Southend)
At Pink Hygiene, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, professional, and friendly hygiene services to our valued clients. We are now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development & Customer Care Administrator to join our Southend team.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and supporting our customer care team with environmental compliance, ensuring our high standards are consistently met. You will also take responsibility for corresponding with customers regarding washroom service schedules, providing clear and proactive communication.
As the first point of contact for all prospective independent and channel companies (aside from our Top 5 channel customers), you'll help drive new business opportunities while building strong client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITES: -
* To be an excellent company ambassador and first point of contact for customers and prospective customers.
* To manage time effectively and efficiently to ensure that both planned and unplanned workload is handled diligently and timely.
* To receive and handle incoming telephone and written communications from potential customers and colleagues in a timely and professional manner.
* To communicate effectively with other staff members, and to supply the required administrative support to aid the growth of the company.
* To attend regular meetings with your team.
* To suggest ways to improve system processes.
* To participate in regular product training.
* To maintain a weekly in depth and progress report.
* To be the lead person with the Customer Care call programme.
* To raise Hazardous Consignment Notes to support Customer Relations Apprentice
* To carry out post installation calls alongside the Customer Care Team Leader
* To complete contract admin by preparing and sending contracts to independent and channel companies.
* To provide cover for Customer relations apprentice whilst on annual leave.
INCENTIVES: -
Alongside your salary, and profit related pay, there will be regular incentives, but these will be at the Companies discretion.
SUCCESS MEASURED BY: -
* Evidence that communications are appropriately acknowledged and answered in both the manner and timescales agreed.
* Satisfaction of staff with communication channels.
ENVIRONMENTAL: -
* Report any environmental incidents immediately to a Director.
* Co-operate with waste and recycling systems in place.
* Aware of environmental policy
* Co-operate with environmental monitoring requirements.
* Any other requirements which may arise as a result of the EMS & QMS system requirements.
LIMITATIONS: -
* To work within the company guidelines and rules
* Adherence to Company policy, procedures and values
Hours are 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday
