Role overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With abundant opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be if you are motivated by progression and interested in developing your career.
Responsibilities
* Providing a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
* Continuously maintaining clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor at all times.
* Collaborating with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets by being knowledgeable on current trends, in‑store promotions and evolving store processes.
* Driving sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
* Utilising the in‑store devices and offering customers the whole product range.
* Providing alternatives and add‑on sales at every opportunity.
* Replenishing stock levels when needed, ensuring the full‑size range is on the shop floor where possible.
* Ensuring that product is priced correctly.
* Deputising for other staff, working within departments, or carrying out other duties as required.
* Always representing JD Sports in the most professional manner and conducting work safely and responsibly.

* Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Actively drive sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding financial goals.
* Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock on the shop floor to maintain optimal product availability.
