We’re delighted to be working with a long-standing, community-focused mixed practice in beautiful Mid Devon, who are looking to welcome an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to their friendly and social team.
About the Role:
This is a genuinely mixed role, encompassing small animal, farm, and equine work, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy.
The practice operates its own out-of-hours service, ensuring excellent continuity of care, with OOH shared on a 1:8 rota and full RVN support. After every weekend on call, you’ll enjoy a long weekend off in return.
You’ll have the freedom to focus on the areas that interest you most, with full encouragement and funding for career development, CPD, and certificates.

This well-established mixed practice combines traditional values with a progressive approach. The team is collaborative, sociable, and supportive, with a strong focus on maintaining a positive working culture. Set in a picturesque part of Devon, you’ll enjoy the best of all worlds, easy access to rolling countryside, the coastline, and the vibrant city of Exeter.

✔️ Confidence handling a varied caseload
