The University of Winchester is seeking to recruit a full‑time Admissions Officer to work within the Department of Marketing, Communication and Engagement. The Department is responsible for the recruitment of students from across the world, with a particular focus on activities that support prospective students on their journey to the University.
The role of Admissions Officer will be responsible for: processing high volumes of applications to a number of programmes at the University using a student record system, maintaining and updating records as appropriate; and for providing comprehensive and tailored advice about programmes and progression routes into higher education to potential students of the University.
The role holder is expected to be an excellent team player, be well organised and have relevant experience of working within a student‑centred environment. Excellent communication and inter‑person skills are required, as is a commitment to providing an excellent service.
