As a Band 4 Therapy Assistant at BeyondAutism, you will work closely with our Speech and Language Therapists (SaLT) and Occupational Therapists (OT) to maintain and further develop the therapy service in collaboration with families and education colleagues.
You will provide direct support to autistic learners (children and young adults) with complex needs and behaviours that challenge, ensuring therapy input is embedded throughout their learning. In addition, you will offer guidance and support to other Therapy Assistants under the supervision of qualified therapists, helping to build consistency and quality across the service.
Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, you will also be responsible for:
* Supporting the delivery of therapy programmes as directed by therapists.
* Providing administrative support including the creation of therapy resources, organisation of therapy materials and equipment.
* Undertaking assessment and therapeutic tasks to effectively meet the needs outlined in individualised Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Collaborating with colleagues and families to ensure therapy approaches are tailored, meaningful, and impactful for each learner

Location: Flexible working around our schools and services (SW17, SW15, SW18, BR1, W6)
Salary: £ 32,133- 34,937 pro rata for part time staff (Band 4.1-Band 4.2 )
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday, 8:45am to 4:45pm, with 30 minute lunch break. There is an expectation to attend governance and committee meetings as required. Occasional evening meetings or events outside normal working hours may also be necessary.
