Job Summary
To efficiently manage field operations, including controlling subcontractors' day-to-day activities and ensuring material supplies are available in conjunction with the Site Manager. Assist the Site Manager in planning and programming site activities to ensure work is completed safely. Deputise for the Site Manager when necessary and manage quality standards to meet customer expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Organisation and control of labour and subcontractors.
2. Completion of weekly planning sheets to meet the overall build programme.
3. Provide direction to contractors and manage quality standards.
4. Coordinate with the Site Manager to ensure the availability of materials.
Health and Safety
Ensure all site personnel comply with relevant regulations and company procedures, conduct frequent inspections, and ensure work is carried out safely. Ensure all operatives work according to method statements and risk assessments and comply with environmental plans.
Sales & Customer Care
Liaise with Sales Executives regarding customer options and variations, resolve customer issues, and assist in inspections and post-completion visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
Site Inspection & Presentation
Plan and arrange inspections, ensure site cleanliness, and oversee waste disposal.
Experience & Qualifications
* Trade background
* NVQ Residential Construction Site Supervision L4
* Knowledge of building processes, NHBC, and Building Regulations
* First aid qualified
* CSCS card at Manager/Supervisor level
