From ideation to creation, youll develop inspiring content across our social channels – building engaged audiences and connecting home enthusiasts with a brand theyll love.
Based in our Coventry Digital Hub, were on a mission to revolutionise the sofa shopping journey. By bringing together in-store expertise and digital innovation, were building truly omnichannel experiences that meet customers wherever they are – and exceed their expectations at every touchpoint.

What does the role involve?
* Support the Head of Brand, Social and Content in delivering the social media strategy, creating inspiring and engaging content to be utilised across social channels, to build engaged and growing audiences.
* Execute brand-level social strategy – shaped in collaboration with our Italian parent brand, Poltronesofà – producing content and campaigns that resonate with UK audiences, balancing global brand consistency with local relevance.
* Support the timely sharing of UK content plans with Italian HQ colleagues for brand approval, maintaining clear communication and a consistent feedback loop.
* Maintain our social channels on a daily basis: scheduling, monitoring comments, performance reporting.
* Be the day-to-day champion of social channels and work collaboratively with agencies/external partners and internal teams to develop creative assets and messaging that help us to reach our business goals.
* Work closely with the Senior Content & PR Executive to translate content plans into compelling social-first formats – adapting copy, creative and messaging to suit each platforms audience and context.
* Actively nurture positive brand sentiment across social channels – fostering meaningful conversations, responding to our community with warmth and on‑brand tone, and identifying opportunities to turn engaged followers into brand advocates.
* Support the delivery of our Influencer strategy, coordinating with creators and agencies to ensure activity is on‑brand, on‑time and aligned to campaign objectives.
* Be the lead on our UGC platform, reviewing and approving content for wider use.
* Contribute to efficient workflows and quality standards to ensure regular and consistent output across our channels.
* Project support for social media initiatives to optimise the customer journey.
* Understand performance to drive continuous improvement, including tracking sentiment trends alongside reach, engagement and conversion metrics.
* Work alongside the paid social team to identify and brief boosting opportunities, supporting the amplification of organic content to maximise reach and impact.
* Be instrumental in delivering social KPIs to support business objectives.
* Support the Head of Brand, Social and Content in taking the wider business on the Digital journey, ensuring stakeholders understand the social landscape and the role it plays for Poltronesofà.
What qualities are we looking for?
* A passion for social media and the latest trends.
* Strong creative skills across a range of mediums, including video.
* Sound knowledge of social media platforms and some experience of tools such as Hootsuite, Canva and Flowbox.
* An understanding of how content, community management and influencer activity combine to build positive brand sentiment over time.
* Confident in recommending creative ideas and communicating to internal and external teams.
* Comfortable working within a brand framework set at a European level, applying guidelines consistently in a UK retail context.
* A passion to deliver excellent customer service.
* Understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape.
* Confident in building excellent working relationships with teams both in‑person and remote.
* Ability to prioritise workload and output, and maintain a continuous feedback loop with the Head of Brand, Social and Content.
* Proven experience with 2+ years as a Social Media Executive, ideally within retail.
* Demonstrable background of social media content planning, creation, publishing and reporting.
* Experience of briefing and establishing excellent working relationships with agencies/content creators.
* Any experience of working within a multi‑brand or international business is a bonus, but not essential.
* Experience of working in a collaborative team environment and building positive working relationships.
