We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Dovegate, a category B Prison located in Uttoxeter in Staffordshire.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
Mon - Fri: 06:45 - 18:15
Sat, Sun and BH: 07:45-18:15
This position is full-time, working 37.5 hours; however, part-time hours can be considered.
Salary
You'll receive an annual salary between £27,247 - £32,346 per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK, and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
* Work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison service's needs.
* Deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines.
Qualifications required
* NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
