About the Role
You’ll deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience. The role involves encouraging students to think critically, engage in respectful dialogue, and reflect on ethical and philosophical issues.
Your Responsibilities
* Deliver thought-provoking lessons on world religions, ethics, and philosophy
* Support students in developing analytical and reflective thinking skills
* Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom culture
* Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and contribute to the wider school community
* Take part in professional development and mentoring, with support available for those working toward QTS
What We’re Looking For
* A strong passion for Religious Studies and student development
* For ECTs: Completion or near completion of Initial Teacher Training
* For unqualified candidates: A solid academic background in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or similar, with a willingness to train
* A commitment to inclusive teaching and student wellbeing
