Our academy provides a wide range of extended learning opportunities including access to a variety of online learning programmes, intranet subject resources, small group catch up interventions, after school academic support sessions and well planned homework to enable students to extend and complement their learning. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Music with Drama to work in our Expressive Arts Faculty. The successful candidate will be joining a thriving department in which all KS3 students receive a one-hour lesson per week and we have large numbers taking the AQA GCSE and A level Music courses. Led by a head of faculty with over 30 years of experience, together with an established team of 10 Dance, Drama, Art and Photography teachers, our staff receives unparalleled support and encouragement to evolve as practitioners. We offer countless opportunities for students to perform, in termly concerts, featuring our Concert Band, Brass Group, String group, and Rock Bands Choir. Our Music department is extremely well equipped enabling us to expose students to the most varied and exciting musical curriculum.
