Role: Delivery Risk Lead

The Role
We are seeking a Delivery Risk Lead to play a pivotal role in managing, controlling, and mitigating delivery risks across HPC's lifecycle - from engineering and design through to commissioning.
Reporting to the HPC PMO Director, you will lead a team of delivery risk professionals, ensuring the consistent application of the HPC Delivery Risk Strategy. This role is central to safeguarding the project schedule, cost baselines, and the safe and timely delivery of HPC.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Delivery Risk Team (10-12 staff + Deputy Lead) to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
Implement and embed the Risk Management Framework across the project organisation.
Support Area, Programme, and Functional Directors in identifying, assessing, controlling, and reporting risks.
Provide accurate, timely risk and opportunity reporting using ARM and Power BI.
Align delivery risks with portfolio and strategic risks to maintain comprehensive oversight.
Lead and coach team members, driving a culture of Humility, Positivity, Respect, Solidarity, and Clarity.
Represent EDF at internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety culture and regulatory requirements.About You
We are looking for an experienced leader who thrives in complex, highly regulated environments. You will bring:
Degree-level education and/or equivalent relevant experience.
Senior-level experience within Risk Management or Project Controls in large-scale projects (nuclear, energy, or similar).
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
Experience with risk frameworks, methodologies, ARM software, and Power BI.
Risk-specific qualifications or professional body membership (preferred).Why Join Us?
