We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker at HMP Fosse Way, a Category C resettlement prison in Leicester.
About The Role
HMP Fosse Way opened in May 2023. Its state‑of‑the‑art design and facilities offer a secure environment to provide skills and qualifications to the men, enabling them to secure meaningful employment on release with the aim of reducing reoffending rates.
Salary
This position is full time and you’ll receive an annual salary up to £33,510 per annum, depending on experience.

Applicants must have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
* You will be working with other members of the team that you are part of, assessing needs of patients and assessing risks accordingly.
* You will provide outstanding evidence‑based care to a caseload of psychosocial patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalized and informed by what matters to them.
* You will provide a program of psychosocial interventions, along with information and advice on substance‑misuse related concerns.
* You will promote safe patient care.
* You will develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications Required
* Experience of working within the substance misuse multi‑disciplinary framework, that includes housing, social care, healthcare, and mental health pathways.
* A flexible approach to working within a team that encourages new ideas and opinions on how to improve the service.
* Good IT skills and IT literacy.
