What do we want?
We are looking for an
experienced and people-focused Hospitality Manager, to lead the guest experience
across our spa environments at The Scarlet and Bedruthan Hotels.
This is a key leadership
role centred on delivering exceptional service, leading
front-of-house teams, and ensuring every guest journey is seamless, calm, and
memorable. While the role sits within our spa offering, spa experience is not
essential—we are looking for a strong hospitality leader who understands
service excellence, team leadership, and operational flow.
Initially, this position will support a maternity cover structure, working
alongside the Head of Wellness. You will take ownership of the guest-facing
spa operation, including Spa Hosts and front-of-house experience, while
therapies leadership is supported separately.
Responsibilities and
Duties:
• Leading and inspiring the
guest-facing team, including Spa Hosts and front-of-house teams
· Creating a warm, welcoming, and consistent guest
experience from arrival to departure
· Overseeing daily operations including rotas, service
flow, and team coordination
· Acting as the senior point of contact for guest
experience within the spa environments
· Managing guest feedback with confidence, empathy, and
professionalism
· Supporting retail areas, presentation standards, and
overall environment quality
· Managing stock control, ordering, and inventory to
ensure seamless operations
· Overseeing spa facilities and equipment upkeep,
ensuring high standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality
· Working closely with other departments to ensure a
seamless guest journey
· Contributing to the ongoing development of this role
into a broader guest experience leadership position
About You
You will thrive in this

· Have 2+ years’ management experience in hospitality
(hotel, guest
services, or similar)
· Are a confident and natural leader who enjoys
developing and
motivating teams
· Deliver exceptional service and handle guest
interactions with warmth
and professionalism
· Are highly organised and comfortable managing busy,
multi-layered
operations
· Stay calm and solutions-focused under pressure
· Are values-led, with a genuine passion for people and
experience
Desirable (but not essential)
· Experience in luxury, boutique, or lifestyle
hospitality environments
· Exposure to spa, wellness, or experience-led
businesses
· Familiarity with booking systems, CRM, or POS
platforms
· Experience in retail or upselling guest experiences
