Working within a purpose-built inspection facility, the role involves assessing returned vehicles to determine damage, required repairs, and associated costs and timescales — all in accordance with inspection standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and record findings in line with agreed inspection standards. Identify necessary repairs and determine appropriate repair methods. Provide detailed and accurate damage assessments and estimates. Operate inspection software tools (training provided). Collaborate effectively with team members and meet performance targets. Ensure timely, high-quality assessments to support operational efficiency. Candidate Profile Essential Requirements: Full UK driving licence. Proven experience in vehicle inspection. Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Good organisational and multitasking abilities. Clear communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with standard vehicle repair methods and fair wear and tear guidelines. Desirable: VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) experience. Experience working in a bodyshop environment.
