The Fires, Aviation and Command Sp Career Management Branch is the most varied Career Management branch in the APC and manages the careers of officers and soldiers in 15 different cap badges. Job Description: The central Grading Boards team within the The Fires, Aviation and Command Sp Career Management Branch is responsible for the appraisals, boarding and associated contracts start to finish process of a given cohort or cohorts. This involves the tracking, hastening assurance, and finalisation of appraisals. The administration, delivery, publication, and assurance of Grading App boards. This also includes delivery of associated contract conversion offers, tracking and actioning of accepted and approved offers. Under the direction of the Chief of Staff, the post holder will line manage and develop the Grading team, schedule/deconflict board dates and assign staff to deliver individual boards. Build and develop the Grading team to adopt a data driven, digital mindset, identify and deliver efficiencies in process and across the seams with the capbadge career management teams within the branch. The post holder will be prepared to expand and evolve the Grading team as the branch and APC reorganises for the future. Provide promotion board and career management expertise to the branch.
