Key Objectives
3. Ensure that Quality is represented and maintained throughout all stages of programmes, projects, trials, and production activities.
4. Provide technical guidance and customer support to ensure deliverables and quality targets are achieved.
5. Maintain and enhance personal technical knowledge and capability to support current and future work programmes.
6. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to strengthen Quality capability.
7. Promote and maintain high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality, while being an effective and collaborative team player.
Responsibilities
8. Support the delivery of technical assessments using appropriate methodologies and contribute to capability development.
9. Participate in design, technical, and defect reviews, as well as stakeholder meetings, to ensure Quality is fully represented.
10. Manage inspection, calibration, and reporting processes to maintain and demonstrate Quality delivery standards.
11. Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
Person Specification
Qualifications
12. Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
13. Lead Auditor (Quality, Safety & Environment) – Desirable
14. Membership of an appropriate technical or professional body – Desirable
15. IOSH Managing Safely – Essential (Training can be provided if required)
Experience & Knowledge
16. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Engineering or Quality Engineering role.
17. Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
18. Experience in recording and reporting both verbal and numerical information.
19. Familiarity with AQAP 2110 – Desirable
20. Experience working in a customer-facing role – Desirable
21. Comfortable structuring and presenting your own work – Desirable
22. Used to dealing with confidential and commercial information – Desirable
23. Familiar with QSHEW operating procedures and requirements – Desirable
Skills & Abilities
24. Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
25. Ability to organise and prioritise own workload effectively.
26. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present reports and documentation.
27. Ability to interpret and evaluate technical data.
28. Capable of communicating with colleagues at all levels, as well as with external stakeholders and contractors.
