The Business Development Manager is responsible for executing Poolhouse’s sales and events strategy at the local level, driving pipeline health, account growth, and sustainable consumer engagement for assigned venues. Working under the Director of Sales & Events, this role focuses on converting enquiries into long-term client relationships, building repeat and referral business, and embedding Poolhouse into the fabric of the local market.
This role requires proactive prospecting, meticulous relationship management, and consistent delivery against sales targets. Success will be measured not only by revenue contribution but also by the quality and durability of the consumer funnel built for Poolhouse venues.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* 3–5 years of sales experience in hospitality, leisure, or events, ideally in multi-site environments.
* Proven ability to prospect, convert, and retain B2B and B2C accounts.
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with evidence of repeat client growth.
* Comfortable with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
* Organised, self-motivated, and resilient, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment.
* A team player who lives Poolhouse’s values and collaborates effectively across functions.
