Job title: Procurement Team Leader Department: Property Procurement Reporting to: Procurement Team Manager Location: London Contract type: Permanent Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm) Salary: £42,000.00 - £45,000.00 per annum plus £3,500 area allowance The Procurement Team Leader will oversee the regional procurement team. They will lead and support the department with a variety of procurement duties in supporting the Procurement team in achieving its procurement goals/targets with the setup of new sites. The role involved working from home daily with daily travel involved to provide direct support to the Procurement team. Reporting to the Procurement team Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the regional procurement team and supporting the team in meeting the KPOs and new targets that will be set in supporting the company’s goal of moving away from the current IA estate. You will be responsible for the management of the team and its welfare and also making sure the policies and procedures are adhered to with the KPOs always met. You will also link in with the property team and its team leader, supporting in giving guidance, preparing the team for site visits and attending meetings on a regular basis with up-to-date data and information as to where the team currently are with its procurement plan. Procedures Develop and maintain a direct procurement strategy and process which manages the forecasted caseload and is in line with cluster policy and strategy. Manage the supply of property through accommodation partners, ensuring adherence to agreed levels and standards and in line with supply chain contracts. Create & maintain effective partnerships with local authority senior EHO’s and other regional stakeholders ensuring compliance with relevant UK legalisation. Develop and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders Work with the Procurement team manager to ensure the portfolio allows maximum efficiency of bed spaces in line with contractual and company requirements Manage, develop and motivate a high performing and multi-skilled team, to meet and exceed all contractual targets and KPI’s Ensure values, ethical standards, policies and procedures are met. Manage and report on performance targets and KPI’s to ensure the contract is being delivered to company and Authority standards as well as legislative requirements. Create a culture of continuous improvement and sharing of best practice across the supply chain to optimise service delivery and business excellence Engender a positive health and safety culture to agreed standards Ensure property handover & sign off processes and procedures are followed Ensure CRH portfolio is fully compliant with Local Authority, UKVI all other regulatory body legislation. Answering daily telephone calls, emails and daily enquiries from procurement officers and landlords Ensure all Local Authority notices received are dealt with in the prescribed manner To ensure internal audit and compliance criteria are met and that all activities conform to agreed company systems, policies and procedures.
