Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
* Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
* Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork and collaboration.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Assist in menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
* Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
* Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
* Passion for food preparation and an understanding of various cuisines.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A culinary degree or relevant qualification is preferred but not essential.
