Nursery Nurse/Practitioner
Location: Wellingborough - NN8 6BQ

Key tasks and responsibilities
* Work with the team to provide high‑quality care for children aged 0–5.
* Ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the nursery by adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
* Use your knowledge, experience and imagination to develop new ideas and activities.
* Build relationships with children and communicate well with their parents.
* Make every working day fun.
Essential knowledge, skills, qualifications & experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
* Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and the ability to plan activities using the EYFS framework.
* Aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery‑aged children.
* Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
* A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
Work Hours and Opportunities
* Full‑time, 40 hours a week.
* Job shares – varying from 2‑3 days a week.
* Part‑time, 20 hours a week.

About Our Wellingborough Nursery
Located in Glenvale Park, our purpose‑built nursery opened in December 2023 and features three spacious rooms and a large garden. The nursery can accommodate up to 100 children per day, offering an engaging and enabling environment.
We provide free on‑site parking, and the train station is just a 5‑minute drive away for those using public transport.
