Purpose of the Job

The Senior Digital Designer will be a key part of a dedicated design team driving creative innovation within the SMB Ads Marketing Team of this long‑time client – a global leader in the Tech industry. The team is leading the in‑housing of creative development + production, working across both scaled campaigns (using tools like PencilPro / Figma Buzz) as well as leaning into conceptual workstreams. As a Senior Digital Designer, you will be supported by our appointed Design Lead for this business area. You will need to have a broad range of design skills, and strong digital design skills.

Initially you will work closely with the client to fully understand and adopt the brand, design guidelines and processes. You will be responsible for creating design systems and architecture that support executional design at scale. You will then execute design outputs for multiple full‑funnel campaigns across digital banners, paid + organic social, emails etc.

You will become an expert in GenAI tools (such as VEO, Imagen + NanoBanana) and ensure that designs adhere to brand guidelines and respond promptly to client feedback. Building strong client relationships is vital, so you should be confident in your design skills, able to work directly with the client, and present your work as required.


Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for the creation and maintenance of brand design systems in Figma, collaborating internally and with external agency partners.
* Produce high‑quality paid media assets within scaled / AI‑powered workflows, as well as contributing to more bespoke, conceptual creative development.
* Design and develop specific projects from design to output of media‑ready artwork mainly across digital platforms.
* Collaborate with the client and colleagues to develop creative solutions that meet the client’s needs in line with their marketing strategy.
* Present your work to the client and respond to feedback appropriately.
* Stay up‑to‑date with design trends, undertaking research when required, ensuring the client’s creative is innovative and appropriate for their regional audience.
* Adhere to program‑specific workflows and processes (file management, quality control etc.).
* Lead by example and share your knowledge and best practice with the wider design team.


Knowledge, Skills + Experience

* Expert level user of Figma.
* Experience creating scalable design systems in Figma for B2B and B2C campaigns.
* Experience scaling assets (versioning/localisation) at high volume across multiple languages, platforms and specifications.
* Experience using GenAI tools (bonus points for Google AI tech).
* Proficiency with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator); additional apps are a bonus.
* Good knowledge of Google Workspace apps.
* Experience working with creative leads and strategy teams to develop platform‑native, brand‑consistent creative assets.
* Motion design skills are desirable but not required.
* Strong concepting, typography, composition, wireframing and storytelling skills.
* Proven track record of creative design and excellent technical skills.
* Attention to detail, proofing, and ability to go beyond spell‑check.
* Experience with AI and its benefits to the creative process.
* Easy‑going, multitasker, resilient to multiple rounds of edits.
* Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities.
* Open to constructive criticism and capable of maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
* Quickly pick up a client’s brand guidelines and maintain consistency while creating innovative designs.
* Highly organized and self‑driven to continuously improve and learn new skills.
