Overview
Oxford: Once a month in the office. Salary range: GBP 60,000 – GBP 70,000. I\'m currently working for a global business in the online gaming/gambling industry and looking to add a Senior .NET Developer to their growing team. The company has been operating for over 20 years and works with a range of clients from small local gaming companies to some of the world\'s largest online casinos. Offshore teams exist in Canada, South Africa and China, though you would have minimal interaction with them. You will primarily be working on modern web applications across a variety of platforms with a focus on the backend. You don\'t need to have previous industry experience, but being collaborative and able to work on multiple projects is important. The role is at a Senior level, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities at lead level. This role requires office working once a month, but the frequency can be adjusted to suit your preference.
Responsibilities
* Work on modern web applications across a variety of platforms with a focus on backend development.
* Collaborate across multiple projects and teams; take on additional responsibilities as the role progresses toward lead level.
Requirements
* Minimum 3–5 years\' experience within software development.
* Backend essentials: C, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, MySQL.
* Frontend desirables: JavaScript, any JS framework.
* Nice to have: AWS, APIs, CI/CD, unit testing.
* Experience with Agile methodologies.
* Confident working across different teams.
