What you'll do
As our Finance Intern, you’ll get first-hand experience in working in a finance department of a global luxury brand. You will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities across the Corporate Finance department. In this role, you will:
9. You will promote and safeguard the Corporate Finance function, ensuring a positive, consistent and accurate representation of Dorchester Collection finance discipline
10. Support all areas within the corporate finance team, acting as an ambassador for the department
11. You will support the team with month and quarter end tasks as required as well as ad hoc projects
12. You will take ownership of designated reporting, ensuring up to date and accurate information is available to the relevant team in a timely manner
13. You will learn to use various finance systems to control corporate office travel and other expenses
14. You will assist with the banking function, including bank reconciliations and payment transfers
15. Assist with the budget process with Dorchester Collection departments
16. Various ad hoc tasks, including financial analysis and modelling, filing, preparing auditor queries documentation, etc.
The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a finance intern, but we’ll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for the Collection. The hours of operation for this role are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, based in our corporate office in Knightsbridge.
