Our focus on product development, marine engineering and digitization \nhas given us a strong position and made us a preferred partner for fish farming companies \nworldwide.\nAs part of the long-term strategic development of the UK company we have an opportunity for an \nMA - Electrical Engineer based in Fort William.Tasks will include assisting with installation, service and repair of feed systems, camera systems \nand wireless networks on aquaculture sites. Assisting with service/maintenance of the same \nequipment in our workshop. Learn and adhere to all H&S policies & procedures.\n The MA programme will be a 4-year apprenticeship programme. In the first year, you will study a \nNational Certificate in Electrical Engineering, SVQ2 Performing Engineering Operations with an \nelectrical bias and core skills at SCQF level 5. The course is run over 33 weeks and will be full \ntime, there is halls accommodation on the UHI Campus in Inverness, which will be funded.\nIn years two to four, you will undertake a workplace only qualification â Diploma in Engineering. An \nassessor will be allocated to guide you through the qualification.\n Genuine interest in Electrical Engineering\nGood problem-solving skills and a proactive and inquisitive mindset, with the ability to challenge \nand offer solutions\nGood planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your time \neffectively\nA desire for a long-term career\nFull UK driving licence or learning to drive\nThere is a requirement for travel to various sites, including locations in Orkney, Mainland, Western \nIsles and Ireland. Sometimes this travel will be at short notice. Hours of work will be 40 hours per \nweek, Monday to Friday.
