About the Role
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers wherever they are.
We equip you for success from day one – with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided. Think independence, career progression, and real work‑life balance – with a 40‑hour week that keeps you moving and out of the same four walls.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers on their driveways, giving advice and representing the RAC with pride.
* Handle a varied workload – servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks – while managing stock, reporting and maintaining customer conversations.
* Think on the fly and make the right call for each customer, tackling new challenges every day.
Qualifications & Experience
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 3 years hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

* A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on‑target earnings up to £50,000.
