Role: Motor Transport Team Leader

The role
As a Motor Transport Team Leader, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you will be tasked with the efficient running of Motor Transport Control.
Day to day, you’ll meet requirements and procedures in a timely and responsive manner, as well as:
* The vehicle routing and the co-ordination of journeys.
* The upkeep of vehicle car passes and the Eric fuel key system.
* Ensuring drivers are fully briefed of their task. i.e., pick up points in/out of scope.
* Ensuring vehicles are fully serviceable before use.
* Recording any vehicle faults in the fault register.
Essential experience of the Motor Transport Team Leader:
* Demonstrable operational experience in a similar environment.
* Demonstrates that they are Articulate in oral and written communication.
* Demonstrates a high level of Excel and Word skills.
Qualifications for the Motor Transport Team Leader:
* Appropriately qualified and experienced in Transport operations.
* Required to pass the MoD DJTO (Defence Junior Transport Officer) Course.
* Required to meet the driving standards for operating LGV & PSV vehicles, Driver CPC, including holding a Digital Tachograph Card.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
