Where will you be working?
MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for maintaining various water assets, including:
* CSO Valves
* Penstocks
* Hydraulic Power Units
* Isolation Gates
* Inspection of chambers and valve equipment
* Inspection of fixed equipment
What we need from you?
* Youll have proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
* You'll have strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Youll have demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
* Be effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Youll have problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on delivering efficient and effective solutions.
Whats essential?
* Previous mechanical experience
* Trained or qualified as an apprentice, or to an equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
* Successful completion of ONC/HNC in Engineering, NVQ, or C&G Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong focus on safety and quality, with a collaborative teamwork approach
* Full UK drivers license
Advantageous:
* Experience with mobile plant (FLT, MEWP)
* Work at Height certification
* Manual Handling qualification
* Confined Space Entry experience
* Pendent Crane use experience
