PR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

LUYA is a nationwide PR, Events and Social agency with a presence in the North West and London. We are looking for any candidates with a background and experience in PR, media relations and events with a specific focus and passion for the Hotel, Leisure and Hospitality industry. At least one to two years experience is preferred.
Reporting directly to the Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Aiding the organisation of editorial coverage in all press including; local, regional, national, trade, online etc.
· Contacting and following up with any press on a daily basis by phone to see what they are working on and potentially calling in.
· Aiding with the creation, issue and follow up of all press release and press emails.
· Booking reviews.
· Building relationships with press and influencers.
· Checking various press platforms for suitable leads and following up for each relevant client on a constant basis.
· General copywriting – including press releases, articles, eshots, newsletters etc.
· Event planning, management and attendance.
· Attending client/ general meetings where necessary.
· Collating stats for monthly PR reports.
