Busines Development Manager - Managed Services

Overview

Join CDW UK as a Busines( s) Development Manager for Managed Services. The role focuses on leading new business Managed Service opportunities across CDW’s Managed Service go-to-markets, including Managed & as-a-Service, Maintenance & Support, Service Desk & Experience Services, and Technology Lifecycle Services. The objective is to maximize revenue and gross profit growth by driving partnerships and delivering against the Managed Services growth objectives and agreed business plan.


What you will do

* Establish new relationships within CDW and externally with client/prospect base to drive performance goals (revenue/profit contribution).
* Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives/KPIs.
* Collaborate with internal CDW Sales and Specialist teams to identify new opportunities and proactively develop a converged sales funnel.
* Own the execution of the business plan against defined milestones and metrics.
* Apply knowledge and subject matter expertise as the sales lead on opportunities across all CDW Managed Service go-to-markets, offers and capabilities.
* Understand and promote relevant initiatives and campaigns to maximise sales opportunities.
* Own and manage the services pipeline and forecast where relevant.


What we expect of you

Demonstrable experience in delivering successful sales growth performance and a structured sales cycle from start to finish.

An understanding of the Managed Service Provider market, including experience selling across service categories and how these address buyer challenges to drive outcomes.

Experience in sales environments, contributing to sales proposals, bid responses and customer meetings.

Excellent interpersonal skills (articulate and engaging) and the ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external customers.

Strong planning, organisation and reporting skills. Desirable experience in working in or understanding the overlay model.
