Their role is to research fusion energy and related technologies, with the aim of positioning the UK as a leader in sustainable nuclear energy. The organisation continues to make strides in fusion energy development, aiming to transform this transformative energy technology into a viable source of power. As such, they are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to help them on this journey.Your new roleIn this role, you will provide support to the Strategic Procurement Business Partner and Department Heads, delivering procurement support across the organisation. This includes providing advice, guidance, and completion of large procurements for the growing R&D portfolio. You will mentor and develop members of the procurement team, ensuring the delivery of a first-class procurement service and compliance with UK directives for public sector procurement.
