We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the newly formed Women's Service, alongside in-house services which include outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility.

The Team Leader role is a key element in providing the variety of services that Cornwall We Are With You offers. This is a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. You will be working as part of a successful management team on the contract we have been delivering since 2013.
This role can be based at any of our main sites: Truro, Penzance, or Liskeard. It has been designed to work specifically with women living across the county who have diverse and complex needs to engage in treatment around their substance use, healthy relationships, and mental and emotional health. This will be a trauma-informed service using an outreach model to ensure the flexibility needed to keep women engaged in treatment. There will be an emphasis on multi-agency working and networking to develop and provide sustainable pathways, supporting women to meet their goals.

with a commitment to providing meaningful services to those who present to our service and achieving this by supporting the existing dedicated team of Women's Recovery Workers.
Areas of work include:
* To support the management team in the delivery of contracted service
* To positively promote the service and We Are With You
* To manage the staff within the service to ensure staff are well informed, inspired and engaged with We Are With You’s strategic objectives and that a cohesive culture is developed
Essential Skills
To do this job successfully, you will have:
* ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent or a commitment to complete within 18-months
* Demonstrable experience of working in the health, social care or criminal justice setting and of working in partnership with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies
* A successful track record of management responsibility and development of others
* An understanding of the issues drug/alcohol clients face and understanding common mental health problems
* Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation in substance misuse treatment or psychological health interventions for common mental health problems in primary care
* Knowledge/understanding of health and safety, including assessing high-risk situations for clients
* Resilient, ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and manage competing / conflicting demands
* Ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
* Be results driven and possess analytical skills
* Good written and verbal communication
* IT competent
* Willing to and able to visit other locations from time to time in order to deliver the services required
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car
