Keystream are working with a leading care provider specializing in Elderly and Dementia care services based in the South West of the UK.
Due to an ongoing vacancy and whilst they recruit to the permanent role they are urgently seeking an interim Registered Manager with a current RGN PIN.
Job Summary:
The Registered Manager - Elderly/Dementia Care Services will be responsible for supporting organisation with thedaily management of the Care Home and all aspects of the day to day functionas well as ensuring high quality standards of care / CQC reviews.
This is a interim role ,to be consideredyou will have worked in a similar type of role (Deputy or Registered Manager) and havean established track record in a care setting, a RGN / RMN (current PIN) is required for this position. You will ideally have experience of delivery in relation to Elderly Care / Dementia services - current Enhanced DBS Adults would also be a distinct advantage due to the urgency of this post.

You will be a strong compassionate leader who can support, lead and mentor those around you whilst not losing sight of ensuring the highest standards of quality care are always a priority working with support staff at every level across clinical and support teams.
As the Registered Manager you will have full day to day ownership of all elements related to quality, safety, home management and providing assurance that the residents are always the top priority.
Ideally having at least 3 years experience in a similar role - your positive manner and empathetic management of the service will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership and by managing the day-to-day operations of the care home.
Ensure compliance with health care regulations, CQC standards and associated regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.
Help identify any training needs related to the team of health care professionals and associated care staff.
Have oversight of staff plans and ensure that rotas and staff cover is planned to support the day to day operational requirements
Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, staff, and families.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and implement improvements as needed.
Demonstrate a commitment to the organisations values and act in a highly professional manner at all times.
Liaise with health care professionals, families, and external agencies to coordinate care and support.
Maintain accurate records and documentation, manage your budgets effectively reporting to senior management as required.
Qualifications: RGN / RMN with a current PIN is required for this post
DBS Enhanced and ideally already on the continuation service
At least 3 years experience of working in a similar role ideally - Elderly Care / Dementia
Previous experience in a similar role as a Registered Care Home Manager
Knowledge and experience in specialist clinical care home service provision.
Excellent leadership, communication, empathy and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions.
Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
On site 37.5 hr working week
No weekend working
2 - 3 month initial interim contract
Immediate start with an excellent daily rate of £350 - £400 per day
