Job Overview
We are looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to be based in Oxford, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme. As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your structural engineering expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment.
The role is based in our Oxford office, working closely with key clients to deliver successful building projects from initial concept through to completion. You will gain experience across various project scales and sectors, including education, regeneration, refurbishment, healthcare, logistics, technology and commercial.
Responsibilities
* Support senior staff with concept and preliminary designs, calculations, and drawing reviews.
* Create sketches, detailed designs and produce site visits and inspections.
* Prepare report writing and documentation.
* Use a wide range of software, including Tekla and STAADPro.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.
* Strong interest in the buildings industry.
* Good communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively.
* A willingness to learn, adapt, persevere and solve problems.
Commitment to the Graduate Programme
Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week to ensure sufficient time with the team and appropriate support.
