Purpose of Roles
Responsible for setting up and operating Spark and Wire Erosion machines to perform EDM precision machining operations.

Manufacturing Lead
Working pattern
Shift work, Monday to Friday
37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee Machinery set-up and operate machines
* Loading materials and unloading finished products
* Adjust machine settings as required
* Follow technical drawings working to customer tolerances
* Carefully follow procedures and safety guidelines. Including company procedures, operating standards, and process documentation
* Maintain an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs. Machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues
* Ensure machines are well stocked with tooling and material to ensure limited downtime
* Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
* Flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Time served EDM Engineer
* Experience in Spark Erosion & Wire Erosion
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
* Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
Rate: £22.01 per hour plus shift allowance at 25% - £27.50 per hour

Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* 37 hours per week
Early Shift:
Mon to Thurs, 6 am to 2 pm & Fri, 6 am - 1.30 pm
Back Shift:
Mon to Thurs, 2 pm - 10 pm & Fri, 2 pm - 9.30 pm
Night Shift:
Mon to Thurs, 10 pm - 6 am & Fri, 10 pm - 5.30 am
Day Shift:
Mon to Thurs, 8 am - 4.30 pm & Fri, 8 am - 1 pm
