We are proud to be grade AA certified against the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and also hold Organic Status. Key Responsibilities: Overall management of day to day quality control operations. Formulate and implement the short, medium, and long-term strategies for the quality department. Lead, manage, motivate and monitor the performance of the quality control department. Oversee the development and implementation of internal quality management systems and procedures and promotion of efficient and food safe operational practices within the organisation to effectively manage work in progress and ensure proper waste management. Develop and promote teamwork using regular meetings to encourage good working relationships and ensure consistent communication of company information. Ensure that quality standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the company. Develop existing HACCP systems in line with legislative requirements for the industry and recognised standards as appropriate. Ensure performance of critical tasks to maintain product quality (e.g. calibration, moisture analysis, etc.). Ensure corrective action is implemented if product/procedures deviate from the standard. Implement best working practices and develop and implement improvements in quality control methods. Host customer audits and conduct supplier compliance inspections. Identify actual or potential problem areas and provide technical advice regarding quality control methods.
