Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Counter Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting with medication administration and patient care. Your expertise in pharmacy operations will contribute to the smooth functioning of our facility, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care.
Responsibilities
* Greet and assist customers at the counter, addressing their inquiries and providing information about products and services.
* Support pharmacy technicians in medication administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety protocols.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including the counter area and storage spaces.
* Assist in managing inventory levels, including restocking shelves and checking expiry dates on medications.
* Provide patient care support by answering questions, directing patients to appropriate resources, and ensuring a positive experience.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Training & Development
* Full on-the-job training provided.
* Opportunity to complete the Medicines Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
* Support from the pharmacist and team to build confidence and knowledge in healthcare.
