What You’ll Do:
* Undertake maintenance, refurbishment & installation works of all aspects of electrical services, including emergency lighting, electrical LV switchgear, distribution boards, mains and sub‑mains cabling, containment, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
* Have a good knowledge of 3 phase motor control and instrumentation systems.
* Have knowledge of inspection and testing procedures and certify works upon completion in accordance with relevant certification.
* Undertake reactive and planned service works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames ensuring client expectations are met.
* Provide detailed reports upon completion of works including breakdown processes, hours and materials of works to allow for accurate valuation of works.
* Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
* Have knowledge of multi‑disciplined trades in electrical distribution systems (LV), mechanical ventilation, HVAC, chillers, plumbing/CWST systems and LTHW heating services (desired).
* Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
* Ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
* Ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
* Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
* Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
* Take a pro‑active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
* Be always fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs.
* Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
* Always work in a safe manner, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Company H&S policy.
* Follow on‑call rota – Monday to Sunday which comes with an additional payment per week on call.
