About the Role You may be supporting pupils with needs such as: Autism (ASC) SEMH and regulation challenges Speech, language and communication needs Learning and cognitive difficulties Your role could include: Providing 1:1 or small‑group SEN support Supporting emotional regulation, routines and transitions Adapting activities so pupils can access learning Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff Maintaining a calm, consistent and nurturing environment Some days will be challenging — but the impact you make is huge.
