Key Responsibilities As a crucial part of our operation, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: Customer Service Excellence: Providing a high level of customer service in accordance with Condor Ferries standards, both face-to-face over the counter and in our Contact Centre. Port Operations: Assisting with the checking-in, marshalling, loading, and unloading of passengers, vehicles, and freight/goods for all company vessels. Bookings & Administration: Efficiently and courteously answering incoming contacts, smoothly processing all bookings, and promoting our products and services. This also involves assisting with the preparation and completion of all paperwork and administrative procedures related to vessel movements. Retail & Payments: Serving customers and processing cash and card transactions in all retail outlets. Issue Resolution: Dealing with day-to-day queries, complaints, or problems arising from reservations or port matters. Candidate Profile To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria: Experience: Previous customer service and accurate computer/keyboard experience. Skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal), professional phone manner, and full proficiency in English. Attitude: Be a strong team player, proactive, and flexible. Desirable Attributes Experience in Manual Handling. Ability to anticipate customer needs. Ability to speak French, Portuguese, or another second language.
