Why This Role Matters Good Growth is a remote-first company, but our offices play a huge role in bringing people together. As Office Manager, you’ll help make sure our Exeter office is welcoming, organised and productive - whether people are working from there regularly, visiting for a team session, coming in for an interview or joining us as a new starter. You’ll often be one of the first people colleagues interact with when they come into the office, which means this role plays an important part in bringing our culture to life day-to-day. You’ll be part of the People Team, but your impact will be felt across the whole business - supporting colleagues, coordinating events, helping new starters get set up and making sure the practical bits of office life run smoothly. This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys helping people, making things happen and creating positive environments where teams can do their best work. Working Hours & Location This role will be based primarily in our Exeter office, with regular in-office presence expected. We’re open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and we’re happy to discuss working patterns that work for the right person. Your role will evolve over time, but your core responsibilities will include: Keeping the Exeter office running smoothly - Making sure the office is organised, welcoming, well-stocked and a place people enjoy spending time. Supporting facilities and workplace operations - Helping with health & safety checks, office improvements, suppliers, equipment and day-to-day workplace needs. Managing suppliers, supplies and budgets - Keeping on top of office stock, coordinating with external suppliers and helping ensure we’re spending sensibly. Helping new starters get set up - Preparing laptops, system access, software, workspace setup and making sure people have what they need from day one. Providing first-line tech support - Acting as a first point of contact for basic IT questions, troubleshooting and coordinating with external IT providers where needed. Supporting onboarding and offboarding - Helping the People Team make joining and leaving Good Growth feel organised, thoughtful and well-managed. Coordinating recruitment logistics - Supporting interview scheduling, candidate communication and making sure hiring processes run smoothly. Supporting internal events and socials - Helping organise team lunches, office events, birthdays, company traditions and wider Good Growth gatherings. Supporting People Team operations - Assisting with employee surveys, HR systems, training logistics and other operational tasks that help the team deliver. A Typical Week Might Include ✅ Preparing laptops, system access and workspace setup for new starters ✅ Helping a colleague troubleshoot a quick tech issue ✅ Coordinating interview logistics for a hiring manager ✅ Organising a team lunch or helping plan an office event ✅ Meeting with suppliers to keep the office running smoothly ✅ Supporting a People Team initiative, such as a survey or training session ✅ Making sure the office is welcoming, tidy and well-stocked ✅ Spotting a practical problem and sorting it before anyone else has to worry about it About You We’re looking for someone organised, proactive and people-focused. You don’t need to have done this exact role before, but you’ll need to be confident managing lots of moving parts, supporting colleagues and taking ownership of the Exeter office environment.
