Are you creative, organised, and passionate about bringing school life to life through visuals and messaging? We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Display and Communications Assistant to help transform our school’s learning spaces and communication channels into vibrant, inspiring showcases of student achievement and community values.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and maintain engaging wall displays across school departments, corridors and shared spaces.
* Support staff with the production of posters, newsletters, bulletins and promotional materials.
* Help coordinate the school's messaging on notice boards, digital screens and social media (where applicable).
* Liaise with teachers and students to gather content, celebrate success and ensure visuals are inclusive and age-appropriate.
* Keep display areas tidy, current, and aligned with school themes, events and educational objectives.
What We're Looking For
* A keen eye for detail and creative flair.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Confidence using basic design tools (e.g. Canva, PowerPoint, Publisher, InDesign – training can be provided).
* Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive approach.
* Previous experience in a school, administrative, or design-related setting is desirable but not essential.
