Working in partnership with a well-established, Lexcel-accredited law firm on the South Coast to recruit a Commercial Property Lawyer for its growing office. This is a standout opportunity for a solicitor or CILEx professional seeking a lateral move or clear progression within a respected regional firm serving Portsmouth, Fareham, and the wider Solent area.

The Opportunity
You’ll join a busy and collaborative commercial property team handling a broad mix of high-quality work across the Portsmouth and Solent region. The role offers genuine autonomy, client exposure, and the chance to play a key role in the team’s continued growth.
Your caseload will include:
Sales and acquisitions of commercial property.
Landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations and renewals.
Supporting local businesses and investors across Fareham, Portsmouth, and the wider Solent market.
Opportunities to get involved in company and commercial matters (desirable, not essential).
You’ll be encouraged to build your profile locally, develop client relationships, and contribute to the ongoing success of the commercial property department.
Requirements
This role will suit a Commercial Property Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer (circa 2+ PQE) who is:
Confident managing their own caseload with minimal supervision.
Commercially aware and keen to develop business in the Portsmouth/Solent region.
Comfortable dealing with a range of clients, from SMEs to established investors.
Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities.
A strong communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
