Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Reablement Care Worker on behalf of Cardiff Council. In this position you will assist or enable service users to remain living within the community, enhancing the quality of their lives, supporting them safely in their own environment. You will do this by assisting people with their daily living activities such as personal care, meal/drink preparation and medication with the aim of helping them back to independence with these activities.
The role is a temporary, full time, position for an initial period of 3 months with a view to this being extended on a rolling basis. The standard shift pattern is either 7:00am-14:30pm or 14:30pm-10pm but we can offer flexibility around the amount of hours and length of shifts on offer. There is a very competitive pay rate on offer of £15.66 per hour so this is not an opportunity to be missed!
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of working with adults in a care setting
• Experience of following care plans
• Social Care Wales Registration
• Enhanced DBS check
• Hold a full UK driver’s license
• Be able to work upon own initiative and within a pressurised environment
