Salary: £33,606 - £43,606 ECT’s welcome to apply (Paid to scale for long term)
Contract Type: April 026 – July 2026.
The Role and School
Are you an enthusiastic key stage 1 teacher ready for your next role in a highly regarded Primary School in the Wisbech area? We are looking for an engaging and energetic Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive and happy staff team. The role has come about due to the promotion of an existing staff member.
The class size consists of 23 children and has the support of an experienced teaching assistant in class.
Key Responsibilities
1. Help create a positive and comfortable environment for the class, whilst also monitoring classroom management and assisting with behaviour support
2. Be able to adapt and adjust various activities and experiences in school for the class
3. Be responsible for a Year 1 class within school, showing respect and care for each student whilst also showing a good level of tolerance
Requirements
4. Hold a QTS in the UK (Qualified Primary Teacher Status)
5. Have previous experience working within key stage 1
6. Have strong team-working and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with a wider team.
7. Have a confident approach to behaviour management
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this Year 1 Teacher position are:
