Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner - NTT
Northumberland Talking Therapies has an exciting opportunity to recruit a qualified PWP who holds accreditation with either the BABCP or BPS and is keen to develop their skills and experience within ourorganisation, working todeliver low intensity service provision to residents from the Northumberlandarea. The position can be offered as a minimum of 22.5 hours or up to and including full time. You will be based in one of our Northumberland offices, but this is a hybrid position with home working options available.
Thepost-holder will work within a service where caseload is monitored on bookedappointments, and which offers fantastic progression opportunities from supervisortraining to trainee high-intensity CBT positions.

The successful candidate will have completed an academic course of study in line with the Low Intensity National Programme and be qualified as a PWP (e.g. PG Cert Low Intensity Psychological Therapies)
Main duties of the job
Inthis role you will:
Undertaketriage assessments
Providea range of low intensity interventions through guided self-help andcomputerised CBT, via telephone, video and face to face appointments.
Facilitate step 2 psycho educational online groups
Havethe opportunity to contribute to a number of innovative service improvement projects.The service has a number of Special Interest Groups which seek to improve and innovate the service offered to the area. This includes but isnot limited to perinatal, long term health conditions, and young people.
Havethe opportunity to act as a mentor to trainee PWPs
Attend regular line management, case management and clinical skills supervision
Work closely with other PWPs to support one another and utilise skills and knowledge
Attend CPD events

Person Specification
Qualifications
* -Qualification from PWP Training Course (Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course)
* -Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling or within a psychological therapy.
* -Psychology or other health related undergraduate degree.
* -Psychology or other health related postgraduate degree
Experience
* -Evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem
* -Demonstrates high standards in written communication
* -Able to write clear reports and letters.
* -Experience of working in Primary Care Services
* -Worked in a service where agreed targets in place demonstrating clinical outcomes
* -Ability to manage own caseload and time
* -Evidence of working in the local community
Knowledge and Skills
* -Ability to evaluate and put in place the effect of training
* -Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills
* -Able to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients
* -Demonstrates an understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in Primary Care
* -High level of enthusiasm and motivation.
* -Advanced communication skills
* -Ability to work within a team and foster good working relationships
* -Ability to use clinical supervision and personal development positively and effectively
* -Ability to work under pressure
* -Regard for others and respect for individual rights of autonomy and confidentiality

* Car driver and/or ability and willingness to travel to locations throughout the organisation
* -Fluent in languages other than English
