Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded Local Authority in Southend for a Locum Housing Lawyer to join their legal team on a full-time, temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing law specialist to contribute to a busy and supportive team, handling a varied caseload of housing matters. They are paying a competitive salary of: Umbrella rate - £50-£65ph depending on experience PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.50 - £57.68ph depending on experience Responsibilities as a Housing Lawyer: Manage a full caseload of housing law matters on behalf of the Local Authority Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of housing law, including homelessness, disrepair, and possession proceedings Conduct advocacy where required, including attending court hearings Draft and review legal documentation, including pleadings, witness statements, and agreements Advise client departments and officers on legal risks and strategies About you as a Housing Lawyer : Qualified Solicitor with at least 3-year PQE in Housing law Experience handling a full caseload independently Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
