Set in the peaceful surroundings of Wivenhoe Park on our Colchester Campus, our Day Nursery offers high quality day care to children from 3 months to 5 years. We serve the local community, University staff and students.
Job role:
We are currently recruiting for a qualified Senior Early Years Educator to join our friendly and diverse senior team at the Day Nursery. This is a permanent and full time position; 38 hours per week.
We are looking for candidates that have previous senior experience in leading a nursery room environment and managing a team of 3-6 Early Years Educators.
Candidates should be passionate about the early years that value children as independent and unique learners. Who enjoy supporting children to learn and develop through a child led approach into confident individuals that are eventually ready to start school. We are looking for potentials that have the skill, knowledge and experience to inspire, lead and motivate their early years team.

Qualifications and skills required:
10. You should have an NVQ level 3 in childcare or equivalent and have previous experience of leading a team within a childcare setting.
11. Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
12. Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively in a team.
