We are seeking a publications designer skilled in design and data visualization, passionate about science and medical innovation. This role involves working on diverse projects for our global clients, focusing on growing our scientific publications offering by creating impactful visual content to support scientific communications.
Key Qualifications:
* Experience in Academia/Scientific Disciplines: Proven experience in academic or scientific settings
* Data Visualization Skills: Expertise in creating diagrams, tables, charts, icons, and graphs to enhance scientific narratives
* Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in InDesign and PowerPoint for print and digital applications
* Creative and Adaptable: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining technical quality
Responsibilities:
* Create visually engaging graphics and data visualizations for scientific publications, presentations, and posters
* Ensure all briefs are fully answered and projects are delivered on time
* Collaborate with creative, art, copywriters, and medical writers to translate client requirements into design options
* Work well in team settings and provide input on design strategy
* Present solutions to art/creative directors for approval and client presentation
* Partner with team members to deliver high-quality creative work
Required Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related field
* Experience in MedComms/Healthcare Communications agency
* Experience designing graphics for scientific publications
* Strong interest and curiosity about science
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
* Knowledge of integrating design into Microsoft PowerPoint
