Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join the Finance Department based in Andover.

This job will involve overseeing the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time. You’ll handle everything from new starters and leavers to overtime, bonuses, deductions, and pensions, maintaining accurate records and resolving payroll queries quickly and professionally.

As the Payroll Administrator, you will work full-time hours. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach who’s looking to develop their career in payroll within a friendly, fast-paced environment.

To be successful as the Payroll Administrator, it is essential that you have previous experience in administration, accounts, or payroll support. Experience in payroll systems, Excel, and statutory payroll requirements would be desirable.

Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:

* Accurately prepare and process monthly payroll within deadlines
* Review HR system updates and engineer timesheets for overtime, bonuses, and deductions
* Maintain payroll records and update our third-party provider, iiPay
* Resolve employee and stakeholder payroll queries quickly and clearly
* Support with reporting, reconciliations, and ad-hoc finance tasks

Payroll Administrator Requirements:

* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general PC skills
* Previous payroll or accounts experience desirable
* Strong communication skills and a helpful, team-focused attitude
