Job Purpose
The Project Product Assurance (PA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring product assurance requirements are met on assigned space projects. The role involves collaborating with a dedicated Project PA Manager and multidisciplinary teams to support documentation and hardware production, ensuring compliance and quality standards are maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure timely and quality delivery of Product Assurance activities within Enersys ABSL.
2. Support the prevention, investigation, and resolution of non-conformances on assigned projects.
3. Produce project documentation to meet internal PA requirements (e.g., NCRs, EIDPs, Inspection Reports).
4. Oversee in-build and in-test inspection points, sign-off of reports or checkpoints.
5. Develop specialist Product Assurance analyses and documentation (PM&P, EEE, RAMS, Safety) in coordination with the Project PA Manager.
6. Document compliance of delivered products to customer specifications.
Qualifications
* BTEC in a STEM subject, equivalent qualification, or industry experience.
Knowledge / Experience
* Understanding of European Space Industry standards (development ongoing).
* Experience inspecting and accepting spacecraft hardware (development ongoing).
* Experience producing inspection documentation (development ongoing).
* Knowledge of configuration control principles and related documentation (e.g., CIDL).
* Commitment to safety and accurate reporting.
* Ability to work in a multi-project environment, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills; capable of working independently and in teams.
* Proficiency with MS Office / Office 365.
